WESTPORT, CT (February 21, 2018) – Gemspring Capital, a private equity firm specializing in lower middle market companies, is pleased to announce that General Wesley K. “We are honored to have General Clark as part of the Gemspring team.  In addition to his distinguished military career, General Clark has advised many successful businesses and organizations and he will bring valuable insight and experiences to our portfolio companies,” said Bret Wiener, Managing Partner of Gemspring.  General Clark will focus on aerospace and defense, corporate and national security, business services, logistics and business development for Gemspring.

General Clark commented, “I am passionate about investing and supporting the nation’s next generation of leading companies, and I look forward to continuing to work with the Gemspring team on lower middle market investment opportunities. General Clark graduated first in his class at West Point with degrees in Philosophy and Politics, and went on to earn his M.A. in Economics from the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. After leading NATO during the Kosovo campaign, General Clark retired from the military as one of the most decorated officers since General Dwight D.
